Regeneration Burns

 VicForests undertake planned regeneration burns during late Summer and early Autumn of each year.

These regeneration burns are part of the annual management plan for Victoria's forests and assist young eucalypt seedlings to establish following the timber harvesting process.

All burns are authorised by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) prior to ignition and are supervised throughout by trained staff on location.
