Warren Hodgson

Warren Hodgson has been involved in policy development at the highest level of the Victorian public sector and has previously led the Victorian Government efforts on Public Private Partnerships.

He has a background in the manufacturing industry in New Zealand and in the provision of contract services to public and private sectors throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He has extensive experience managing a variety of businesses and projects.

Hon. Monica Gould

Monica has over 30 years of senior level experience in government and industrial relations sectors, bringing to the board a strong understanding of government policy, industrial relations and workplace safety.

Monica was a member of the ACTU Executive and General Vice-President of the National Union of Workers before she entered Parliament. Later, she became MLC for Doutta Galla province where she served as Minister for Industrial Relations; Minister for Educational Services and Youth Affairs; Leader of the Government in the Legislative Council; Shadow Minister for Aged Care and Housing; Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council and President of the Legislative Council.

Fiona McNabb

Fiona McNabb is a finance and risk consultant, a visiting fellow at the Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre lecturing in financial risk management, a VicForests Director and a member of the North Richmond Community Health Centre board of governance.

Fiona has more than twenty years experience in finance, risk management, interest rate derivatives and quantitative analysis at major Australian banks and in the Government sector. She is also a Certified Finance and Treasury Professional and the Regional Director of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association’s Melbourne Chapter.

Bob Smith

Bob has 20 years experience working for a wide range of Victorian and NSW public agencies covering forestry, finance, land and water management, industry and infrastructure development, and enhanced community participation in natural resource management.

Most recently Bob was CEO of State Forests of NSW, playing a major leadership role in developing and embedding triple bottom line accounting, as well as certification of the timber supply chain from State forests.

Trevor Smith

Trevor has represented the workforce and communities of the Forest and Wood Products Industry Nationally and Internationally for in excess of 30 years in his role as National Secretary of the Construction Forestry Mining & Energy Union (CFMEU) Forestry & Furnishing Products Division (FFPD).

Trevor has chaired a number of Industry Superannuation Funds and National Industry Training Advisory Bodies as well as carrying out representative roles on numerous Industry strategic bodies including the Forest & Wood Products Council (FWPC) and the National Plantation Advisory Committee.

Susan Walpole

Susan has 30 years experience working in a range of industry sectors including legal, finance, health, water, superannuation and broadcasting.

Susan has senior management experience in each of these sectors with strong emphasis on governance, compliance, business development and public policy development.  Susan was most recently the Company Secretary and General Counsel for UniSuper Limited and a Director of the Victorian Legal Aid Commission.

David Pollard - Chief Executive Officer
 
David Pollard's career has included the inaugural CEO of the Australian Film Finance Corporation (1988 - 1990).  From 1990 until 1997, he was the Director of Information with the Australian Securities Commission.  He also spent time as Assistant Commissioner of the Industry Commission (1994 - 1995) during which time he led the Commission inquiries into Charitable Organisations and the Petroleum Industry.
 
As the Commissioner of State Revenue from 1997 - 2002, Dr Pollard managed the move of office functions to a regional facility at Ballarat and oversaw the design and implementation of a new, $36 million computer system (E-Sys) for the SRO.
