We are authorised to cart forest produce from VicForests operations in state forests in the Port Phillip, Hume and Gippsland Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning regions at any time of day, including on weekends and public holidays.
We develop haulage plans to minimise disruption to residents and help to maintain safety.
Haulage plans are specific to the relevant area and include information such as when and where school buses operate.
Harvesting operations sometimes occur adjacent to public roads. To ensure safety, it may be necessary to close these roads for short periods.
If this occurs appropriate signage is placed to advise the public. We also notify residents of the closure and provide details such as the reasons for the closure, specific location and timing.
If you observe a problem with one of our log trucks, we encourage you to contact us with the details, date, time, location and truck registration number at firstname.lastname@example.org.
