Once an area has been assessed both on computer and in the field, and is deemed appropriate for harvest, it will be added to a draft plan. Once the draft plan is completed, coupes listed on the plan will be circulated to stakeholders.
The draft plan is communicated via:
the Proposed Timber Release Plan (TRP);
advertisements in local newspapers and;
letters to known local residents and interested stakeholders.
There are a number of ways you can register yourfeedback in relation to Proposed TRPs during the TRP Stakeholder Engagement period. Following this period, stakeholder submissions are assessed and changes to the Proposed Timber Release Plan may be made.
