VicForests is a state-owned business responsible for the harvest, commercial sale and regrowing of sustainable native timber in Victoria.

Our operations are certified under the Responsible Wood Certification Scheme, which is endorsed by PEFC, the world's largest forest certification scheme.

We regrow all harvested areas with the same type of forest that was originally there. And as proud forest people we apply extensive protections for flora and fauna, and protect waterways and soils.

VicForests also plays an important social and economic role in regional communities across Victoria.
